Hand knit my me to order in beautiful Irish made Donegal Tweed yarn.

This unique wool is spun in County Donegal in one of the few remaining Wool Spinning Mills in Ireland.

Donegal Yarn is influenced by the surrounding green valleys and hills flecked with grey and white granite stones of the landscape, the vibrant yellow of gorse blooms in Spring.  The pink, and purple hues of Heather and the stunning blues of summer sky and sea.  Autumn golden glows and the vibrant red Rowan and Holly berries of Winter.

This beautiful yarn is made by skilled artisans of a base blend of up to six individual colours, with a seven or eight contrasting wool flecks, (neps) dotted along the surface of the yarn.
